Conditions that are not visible or reasonably discoverable before work begins may require additional labor, materials, equipment, or services.
These conditions may include:
Work outside the original written scope may require a change order and additional payment.
Additional work may be authorized through a signed document, email, text message, electronic approval, or another clear written authorization.
IB Electric Inc. may suspend work until the additional scope and pricing have been approved.
Scheduled dates and arrival windows are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Appointments and projects may be delayed, changed, or rescheduled because of:
IB Electric Inc. will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of material scheduling changes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, IB Electric Inc. is not responsible for lost wages, lost profits, business interruption, tenant expenses, delayed openings, or other indirect losses caused by scheduling changes or delays.

IB Electric Inc. may refuse, suspend, or discontinue work if a property is unsafe, inaccessible, unsanitary, threatening, or otherwise unsuitable for the requested work.
Electrical work may require permits, inspections, utility approval, or approval from another authority having jurisdiction.
The applicable proposal or project contract will identify whether permit and inspection fees are included.
Municipalities, inspectors, utility providers, engineers, or other authorities may require additional work that was not included in the original scope.
Required additional work may result in:
IB Electric Inc. is not responsible for delays, fees, requirements, or decisions controlled by government agencies, utility companies, inspectors, engineers, or other third parties.
IB Electric Inc. is not responsible for defects, damage, code violations, or unsafe conditions that existed before our work began.
Electrical work may reveal conditions that could not reasonably have been identified before work started, including:
If an existing or concealed condition affects the work, IB Electric Inc. may suspend the project, issue a revised estimate, request authorization for additional work, or require another qualified contractor to correct the condition.
IB Electric Inc. may decline to install materials or equipment supplied by the customer.
When IB Electric Inc. agrees to install a customer-supplied product:
Any applicable workmanship warranty covers only installation work performed by IB Electric Inc.
Products, materials, brands, model numbers, specifications, finishes, and availability may change.
If a specified product becomes unavailable, IB Electric Inc. may recommend a reasonably comparable replacement.
Customer approval will be obtained when a substitution materially affects:
Special-order, customized, or nonreturnable materials may require advance payment and may not be refundable after they are ordered.
To the extent permitted by law, materials supplied by IB Electric Inc. remain the property of IB Electric Inc. until paid for in full.
Payment requirements will be stated in the applicable estimate, proposal, contract, or invoice.

The customer agrees to pay all authorized charges for:
IB Electric Inc. may suspend work, withhold scheduling, or decline additional service when a required payment is overdue.
Overdue balances may be subject to late fees, collection expenses, court costs, attorney fees, and other lawful remedies when permitted by law and disclosed in the applicable agreement or invoice.
Nothing in these Terms waives any payment, collection, or construction-lien rights available under applicable law.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.
The customer represents that they are authorized to use the selected payment method.
The customer agrees to contact IB Electric Inc. and make a reasonable effort to resolve a billing concern before submitting a chargeback or payment dispute concerning properly authorized and completed work.
Nothing in this section limits any lawful right available to the customer through a card issuer, financial institution, or applicable consumer-protection law.
Returned, rejected, or reversed payments may be subject to a reasonable fee where permitted by law.
Customers should provide at least 48 hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.
A reasonable cancellation, dispatch, or rescheduling fee may apply when:
Special-order, customized, and nonreturnable materials may not be refundable after they are ordered.
Nothing in these Terms eliminates, limits, or restricts any cancellation right provided by applicable law.
Any legally required cancellation notice will be included with the applicable customer contract when required.
A project is substantially complete when the electrical work, or the completed portion of the work, can be used for its intended purpose, even if minor corrective, inspection, administrative, or punch-list items remain.
The customer must notify IB Electric Inc. promptly of any alleged incomplete or defective work.
IB Electric Inc. must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and correct qualifying workmanship issues.
Except in a genuine emergency, the customer should not allow another contractor to alter or repair disputed work before IB Electric Inc. has been given a reasonable opportunity to inspect it.
Any workmanship warranty provided by IB Electric Inc. will be stated in the applicable written proposal or project contract.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a workmanship warranty does not cover:
Products and equipment may be covered by separate manufacturer warranties.
Manufacturer warranties are controlled by the manufacturer's terms and decisions. IB Electric Inc. does not guarantee that a manufacturer will approve a warranty claim.
Unless expressly included in writing, diagnostic labor, removal, shipping, replacement labor, reinstallation, programming, permit fees, inspection fees, and testing are not included in a manufacturer warranty.
Electrical work may require drilling, cutting, trenching, excavation, or access through walls, ceilings, floors, cabinets, concrete, landscaping, roofing, or other finished surfaces.
Unless expressly included in the written proposal, IB Electric Inc. does not provide:
IB Electric Inc. will use reasonable care but cannot guarantee that electrical work can be completed without affecting existing surfaces.
Emergency and same-day service are subject to personnel availability and are not guaranteed.
Submitting a website form, voicemail, email, text message, or social-media message does not guarantee that an emergency request has been received or accepted.
For fire, smoke, electrical arcing, downed electrical lines, an active shock hazard, or another immediate danger, leave the affected area when safe and contact 911 and the appropriate utility provider.

IB Electric Inc. may photograph or record work areas for:
IB Electric Inc. will not intentionally publish a customer's exact address, security information, financial information, personal documents, license plate, or other clearly identifying private information for marketing purposes without authorization.
The IB Electric Inc. name, logos, website design, written content, photographs, graphics, videos, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to IB Electric Inc.
These materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, sold, or used commercially without prior written permission.
Manufacturer names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
