Rebate amounts and eligibility vary by program year and customer territory. IB Electric advises on current availability at time of project.

DTE Energy & Consumers
Energy Rebate Programs
Michigan's two major utilities: DTE Energy and Consumers Energy: operate incentive programs designed to encourage EV adoption and energy efficiency upgrades. Many IB Electric customers in Metro Detroit qualify for these programs and receive cash back on qualifying installations.
IB Electric identifies rebate eligibility during the project planning phase and provides customers with the documentation needed to apply. We don't guarantee specific rebate amounts: those are set by the utility programs and change periodically: but we make sure every eligible customer knows about them.
Rebate programs currently active for qualifying customers include: Level 2 EV charger installation rebates, commercial LED lighting retrofit incentives, and time-of-use rate programs for EV owners.
